Why this program is needed

Many Ukrainian veterans return from the frontline with eye injuries or trauma‑related vision problems and cannot access specialized ophthalmic care or afford treatment.

How the program solves it

The program connects veterans with qualified ophthalmologists, provides diagnostics, surgeries and vision correction, and supports rehabilitation so that defenders can regain or preserve their sight.

What has been achieved

What has been achieved

With the support of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, the International Charitable Foundation “Contribution to Medicine Development”, and the clinics “Vasyl Shevchyk Eye Microsurgery” and “Hippocrates”, dozens of veterans have already received examinations, surgical treatment and optical correction, significantly improving their quality of life.

Where help is needed

Support is needed to finance complex eye surgeries, modern diagnostic and surgical equipment, optical devices, and travel costs for veterans from remote and frontline regions.
